Editrice Darte
DARTE is a brand dedicated to the art world wanted by the TAU publishing company, which has been based in Todi since 1997. Known for being “the most livable city in the world” according to a study by Richard Levine of Lexington University, Todi was a protagonist of the literary, artistic and spiritual ferment that invested Umbria from the first century of Christianity onward . In this region very high figures were born, such as Benedetto da Norcia, Francesco d’Assisi, and Jacopone da Todi, saints, poets and writers, but also Perugino, Pinturicchio, Piermatteo da Amelia, painters and artists who knew how to extend the greatness of this handkerchief of land far beyond its borders.
DARTE publishes monographic volumes and art catalogs, of which it follows the entire editorial path, from the drafting of the text to the graphic processing of the images.
It also deals with the promotion of works through multimedia channels, as well as with distribution in national and international bookstores, and with sales on the most important online reference platforms.
The DARTE editorial team collaborates with artists, authors, scholars, researchers, collectors, antique dealers, world experts in figurative and abstract arts, as well as works for foundations, museums, galleries and auction houses.
DARTE intends to promote projects aimed at filling bibliographic gaps, which is why it favors monographic themes, even by young authors.
A large investment in the best printing technologies allows DARTE the best reproduction of a work, and the staff dedicated to the press to advise the author on the type of material and finish most suitable for the project, such as a fabric for a stylist.
The graphic section deals with the composition between words and images, specific and unique, as specific and unique must be the identity of each volume published by DARTE .
The DARTE editorial team collaborates with artists, authors, scholars, researchers, collectors, antique dealers, world experts in figurative and abstract arts, as well as works for foundations, museums, galleries and auction houses.
